We begin this hike near the pub at the bottom of the trail. Which is around 60-90 meters. the surface elevation of the Tarn is 1552' Usually after a long day on the trail a stop in the pub is in order this trail is about 2km and can be quite difficult on a wet or Icy day. You do have to cross that stream a few times so better to do it on a less rainy day as well. The Lake District is part of the National Trust, so this property and the beautiful landscapes will be preserved for generations to come.
