Back in the day in a town called New Brunswick there was a group called Butthead. the bass player Dan Roorda once said he wanted to name the group that just in case they hit it big and they can bring the word "butthead" to MTV. But then "Beavis and Butthead" debuted on MTV, so the band decided to change their name to Buzzkill. Then MTV came up with a comedy show called "Buzzkill". They kept that name regardless, however, and the band went on to be signed to Alternative Tentacles Records. This was shot during their Butthead days.
