Praise Song (work-in-progress)

This is the music to a praise song I'm writing. I think I got the chorus figured out, which I sing... horribly. Sorry the quality isn't the greatest. Using the cam's microphone to record, which is why there is moments of clipping (due to auto-compression). But I hope you can hear the general effect. If you have ideas for lyrics during the verses, I'm welcome to hear them. BUT I want the entire song to be inspired by the scriptures. And I also think the song should be sang with God being in the "second-person" rather than "third-person" ("You" rather than "He"). It makes the song more personal in that way, I think.
Anyway, I know the piano has a tendency to drown out my singing (thankfully), so here are the words to the chorus:
And I will pray for my redemption
and Your forgiveness for all my sins
And You will take me up
from the waters
And through the blood of Your only Son
I'll be saved
Hope you like what God has inspired me to compose so far. Again, I'm open for suggestions! I'm not a very good lyricist. I figured maybe God wants me to make this a team effort with other Christians!
