Dogs Deserve Better, Inc. a nonprofit located in Smithfield, Virginia, is transforming Vick's Bad Newz Kennels to the Good Newz Rehab Center for Chained and Penned Dogs. We are currently working solely from the house while we raise the capital needed to build our facility, yet through August 2013 we've still managed to support 80 formerly chained or penned dogs, working with 12-14 dogs at a time. This is Anthony's story. We hope you'll enjoy it and spread the word about the Good Newz Rehab Center. We are so, so very grateful to have a place to call our own, and although we are in the beginning phases, we are excited about our future here for the dogs. Thank you to all our donors who made this possible! Anthony thanks you too. Please help us fund building the center, or as an interim step an additional 'dog bedroom' wing onto the current home so we can safely save more dogs. Thank you!
