1/7/2016 - First outing of 2017 was a success! Lots of goodies on the BNSF Ottumwa and Chillicothe Subs today! Here's a breakdown of what we caught!

(2:24) BNSF SD70ACe #9321 leads a sand train off the Ottumwa Sub

(6:37) BNSF ES44AC #6180 leads an empty coal train off the Mendota Sub.

(9:22) The BNSF Galesburg Terminal

(10:58) BNSF ES44C4 #8027 leads a stack train on the Chillicothe Sub

(12:42) AMTK P42DC #42 (Veterans) leads the Amtrak Southwest Chief #4 through the country near Galesburg

(13:21) NS SD70ACe #1041 w/ Warbonnet and NS SD70 leads a BNSF manifest train on the Ottumwa Sub in Cameron. "WOO!"

(15:05) BNSF C44-9W #4576 leads an extremely fast intermodal train on the Chillicothe Sub in Cameron

(16:54) CSX ES44AC-H #3232 leads a fast stack train on the Chillicothe Sub in Cameron.

(19:20) BNSF ES44DC #7529 leads an extremely fast intermodal train on the Chillicothe Sub in Cameron.

(21:03) BNSF ES44DC #7542 w/ warbonnet leads a sand train on the Chillicothe Sub in Cameron (blurriness right as the leader goes by... thanks, camera)

(23:14) The sand train meets BCOL C44-9W #4648 in the Galesburg terminal! 

(24:48) BNSF SD40-2 #1848 (Ex-BN) leads a yard pull out of the terminal and past the Galesburg station

(27:56) Coming up along the side of the yard pull, AMTK P42DC #203 solo leads the Amtrak California Zephyr #6 into the station

(29:36) The yard pull backs into the terminal and #6 departs

(32:00) AMTK P42DC #152 leads the Amtrak California Zephyr #5, making a station stop.

(35:46) BNSF SD40-2 #1882 backs away from the Amtrak station, just as BNSF ES44DC #7217 w/ NS power leads a ballast train off the Barstow Sub.
