A look at this budget piece of gear.  The Coghlan's Trek 1 first aid kit.  Available for around $8 this cheap first aid kit is a nice simple way to cover small injuries on the trail.  It is very simple and has only what you need to take care of cuts and scrapes.  Typically I am a fan of homemade kits, but decided to give this one a try.
