Slow Down by Ted Suzan Would you like me to slow down? Would you like me to speak a little slower? Would you like me to slow down and hold your hand...hold your hand.. Would you like me to slow down Would you like me ta...add a little sugar... and sweetin' it up... You say I'm on a high-horse, and that I should get down... Well, why don't you buy a high horse, and then we could ride around town... Cuz... I don't wanna slow down Don't wanna talk 'bout the weather Don't wanna slow my pace so you can hear what I think You know when I'm alone, it's then only time I feel at home The only time I can go my speed But, when I'm with you, I have to go from 84 to 22. Sometimes, I get out of my car, walk... and let you lead... Cuz you need to slow down you need to talk a little slower you need to speak a little softer and sweeten it up I take my big ideas and dice 'em all up then I spoon feed you one bite at a time and add pretty rhymes welcoming sounding chimes the jingle of dimes.... (then cease to bang on desk) FYI, Manatee from my hands in my 11th grade art class, woot woot...
