The California Girls Choir here sing "When the Saints Go Marching In" and the hosting choir, Basingstoke Male Voice Choir, launch into their version of "Unchained Melody" - not a bit like that of Jimmy Young (remember him?). The girls really enjoy their share, with tambourine and castanets. Their elderly conductor sits and watches while his wife conducts - he is getting quite frail and not up to it. Original footage by Nicholas Newble, then 14.
