It just seems odd to call a person "Reverend," or "Your Holiness" — especially when we are all servants of the One who is to be revered as holy. Do three years in seminary really elevate some people to 'hallowed' status? Instead of giving out titles proclaiming our status, why not stick to plaques, certificates, and scratch-n-sniff stickers to make people feel good about themselves?
