Battle

When fighting Novus, you can either Berserk one your characters, or rely on Gabranth to attack the Sephira Swords. Whatever your choice would be, focus all your fire power, your powerhouses on Vayne since most of the Swords move pretty fast. As usual, quickly Dispel his positive status effects, and cast some positive status on your party members. Take note that Judge Gabranth may have pretty good stats, but he rarely heals you, so don't rely him on healing. Vayne will randomly use his two cinematic attacks, "Azure Vortice", and "Contempt". Which deals around 600-1500+ damage to all characters in range. Take note that even you destroyed all the Sephira Swords, Vayne can still executes his cinematic attacks, the swords will not disappear when destroyed, rather, they'll surround Vayne. When you drained about 50% of his HP, a cutscence will follow, and Vayne regains his positive status. Dispel. Buff your characters if their positive status wear off. Now Vayne will attempt do execute more special attacks, such as "Tree of Sephira", "Inviolable Wall" and Limit Break, which increase Vayne's overall stats. He can also build a Magick Paling, which negates all Magick attacks. His final cinematic attack, "Tree of Sephira" hits about 2000+ to all characters in range. Constantly remember to re-buff your characters should they wear of and eventually Vayne Novus will fall.
