I arranged and recorded Chan Chan almost 10 years ago with cuban friend, former national football team # 10 player and athlete of the year in Cuba 1990 : Luison Medina. A natural, ..singer, conguero, poetic soul from Pinar Del Rio, Cuba. There's a cuban family in Norway, and all kinds of musical constellations have been formed since the late 80's / mid 90's. From traditional folklore to Son, Latinjazz, Charanga and Timba. I am grateful for the ability this gave me to learn, hang and play. I uploaded a few pictures in this video, not all are directly connected to the recording, but all represent people, input & output .. You know who you are, and you know what it means :) Big salute & thanks to Luison Medina..who's in Oslo, Norway.
