It is not a technical mountain, but Kilimanjaro, the highest mountain in Africa, almost took my life. It is a beautiful hike that takes you from rainforest to ice cliffs in just a few days. I took the longest route and attempted this trek in less days than what I was supposed to. This mountain showed me that reaching its summit is not about physical fitness but acclimatization.
