He sure does look tougher than Asura, but he sure isn't. First of all he can't heal himself, and he doesn't attack as often as Asura, or as hard.

His Tidal Wave is not a big problem. Make sure you use Curaga to restore everyone's health back to normal, because it CAN do quite a bit of damage to your party members. 

You shouldn't have much trouble with this boss, you should be constantly healing with Rosa, and attacking with the front row. Rydia should use Bio and that's about it.
