BIO
Chang believes in leveraging technology to augment human potential, whether by automating the mundane or recognizing intangible qualities. Specifically, she seeks to partner with entrepreneurs working on challenges in AI/ML (computer vision, robotics), the future of work (hiring, training, HR, early childhood), and commerce tech (logistics, manufacturing, supply chain).

Prior to joining Upfront in 2016, she was the first Product Manager at the Minerva Project, a venture-backed, tech-enabled university for the 21st century — rethinking everything in order to offer a better education at a lower cost. She also co-founded and was the COO of an ed-tech startup in China, which has raised $48 million to-date. Previously, she was a Consultant at The Boston Consulting Group, where she advised clients across technology, retail, and healthcare sectors as well as private equity investors. Chang has also spent time at Microsoft and Jane Street Capital.

Chang received her MBA from the Harvard Business School and her AB in Applied Mathematics from Harvard University, with a minor in Computer Science. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at https://www.ted.com/tedx
