American Bright offers a full line of infrared devices for analog and digital controllers.

This line includes: discrete photo emitters and phototransistors with various lens colors; infrared receiver modules, which integrate a phototransistor and IC that can independently receive infrared light and output TTL-compatible signals photo interrupters, which integrate an emitter and one or more phototransistors facing each other in a single package and function as an optical switch when an object comes between them; and photocouplers or photo-isolators, which also include an emitter and phototransistor that convert electrical signals to light pulses to transfer information between two isolated circuits.
