Officials to discuss future of North Loop project, Buck O'Neil Bridge at Wednesday meeting

The future of the North Loop and Independence Avenue is unclear. The Beyond the Loop process has studied several different options on how each road will connect. On Wednesday, officials will meet at the Mid-America Regional Council to discuss the future of both the John "Buck" O'Neil Bridge and the Downtown Loop. The meeting will begin at 4;30 p.m. Officials say the North Loop concept wouldn’t become a reality until at least 2028.
