Zebra Midges are not only excellent at catching fish, they are also the easiest fly to tie that I know of. 

I like to add hotspots using bright UV enhanced dubbing. This not only adds color to help garner some attention from shy trout, but gives a bonus attraction from the UV spectrum.

Tie these in black, olive, and red, and feel free to vary the color of the hotspot too!
