An original 1985 television spot for the crime drama starring and directed by Burt Reynolds. Based on a novel by celebrated author Elmore Leonard (who helped adapt this) "Stick" marked Burt's fourth time directing a movie, and unfortunately the film endured both production and release delays due in part to the health issues Mr. Reynolds was coping with. Candice Bergen, George Segal, Charles Durning, Richard Lawson and stunt veteran Dar Robinson co-star. This television spot manages to incorporate most all of the best scenes in the finished film.
