A sleek looking WDP4 #20083 still sporting the good old sharp cabin, homed at SGUJ (SILIGURI) DLS, rams through the rural north Bengal between Nijbari & Chatter Hat, with on time 15483 Alipurduar Jn.-Delhi "Sikkim Mahananda Express / सिक्कीम महानंदा / সিকিম মহানন্দা এক্সপ্রেস" at flat 100 Km/h. This train is named after the 'Mahananda river' & was first introduced between Katihar Jn. & Delhi as train number 983/984. The train was later extended to New Jalpaiguri Jn. on eastern end with train number 4083/4084. Finally the train was extended to Alipurduar Junction.
