FPV Flying: My very first trip to the clouds

Forecast was a 20% chance of rain with very little wind... so why did it rain 90% of the day.  On my first flight my wing managed to get into a downpour and the fpv camera shorted out leaving me with a black screen and just the OSD overlay... then we drove around a lot whilst it continued to rain.

... and then we had this magical 20 minutes in the whole day and managed some nice flying.

This was very exciting for me, as I'd always wanted to get into the clouds, and today they were low enough and we had the right conditions to get up there.

This was still challenging on 5.8, and I got a lot of breakup sometimes, but there were enough holes to get a reasonable picture through most of the time.
