http://bit.ly/IbRCCo -- In this video, Jeff Reed, Application Development Executive at Logicalis, discusses VMware vFabric. Logicalis is a world-wide systems integrator who also has a public cloud offering built on VMware vCloud Director. They roll out PaaS (platform as a service) for customers privately and in their public cloud. Logicalis believes that VMware's products are superior because of the company's commitment to a culture of openess and a focus on developers. He sees a significant Java following now taking a look at VMware vFabric and implementing it. For their company, growth is coming from the simple truth that VMware products cost less and are better than competitive products. Customer adoption rates are increasing rapidly in their view. In addition, they see customers who want their own private PaaS platforms -- companies that have virtualized on VMware vSphere and VMware vCenter now see the benefit of adding VMware vCloud Director and VMware vFabric.
