Today's Navajo Word of the Day was shot at Kewa (Santo Domingo) Pueblo. Hoop Dancer Nakotah Larance (Tewa/Hopi) helped me with today's Navajo word, "Tsibąąs Yee Alzhishí," which means "hoop dancer. Nakota Larance is a 6-time world champion hoop dancer. He also showed in several movies (Bury My Heart At Wounded Knee, Expiration Date, etc.), and in the music video "Geronimo" by The Knocks. I'm glad I got to do this video with him! :-)
