DST Engineering's Bob Dettorre has built this great "grab and go" Tweed/Blackface amp for Max Boogie. This 1x12 Combo amp is a single channel that can run 6V6, 6L6, or EL-34 power tubes. Seen here running 6V6 tubes, putting the output about 22W. 

Power stage is Cathode-biased, but the Pre-amp stage is designed like everyone's favorite  "Blackface" amps. The amp can be switched between Tube rectifier and SS rectifier. Feedback control knob can dial in the amount of Tweed "sag." There is even built-in tube Reverb!
