Allergies: the Downside of a Beautiful Spring

It's springtime here in the United States. But while most of us are enjoying the warmer weather and all the flowering plants, it can be a difficult time of year for the one person in four who suffers from seasonal allergies. It's also a tremendous drain on the economy. The U.S. loses an estimated 700-million dollars a year in productivity and Americans spend billions more on allergy medications and treatments. This has been an especially bad spring for allergies. Between sneezes, reporter Mike Osborne filed this report from the southeastern city of Nashville, Tennessee.
