This really is a quickie. I didn't really care for the Metro North trains. I was here for the last two Amtrak trains of the night, as well as some local freight. We start off by seeing Amtrak 177, a Northeast Regional Train to Washington Union Station, as it pulls into and departs from New Rochelle. 177 consists of AEM7AC 927 and 8 Amfleet I coaches which includes a cafe car. The next thing we see is Amtrak Train 179, a Northeast Regional to New York-Penn Station. 179 consists of AEM7AC 908 and 8 Amfleet I coaches which includes a cafe car, Right behind 179 on the center track is Metro North Train 1595, an express to Grand Central Terminal. 1595 consists of an M4 triplet and two pairs of M2's for a total of 7 cars. The last train we see is CSX B750, the local freight out of Croton West Yard. B750 is first seen in New Rochelle, running light to Marval in Mamaroneck. We then see them running back west through Mount Vernon East with a single covered hopper, which is bracketed by GP38-2's 2804 and 2807.
