How is this crap okay?

There's basically nothing I can do to avoid this long term. I either hold the block button until my block is so weak his strikes get through, or I try to parry & counter, but the counters are so slow he's either hit me at least once or twice by the time I hit him, or I try and take down and get hit in the head. Look how fast my stamina drops when I'm blocking versus his spamming punches. It was the second fight tonight someone's done this and ended up dropping me. If I'm missing something and there is actually a legit defense strategy, I'm all ears.
