Regina Weir, coordinator of Safe Kids Metro Kansas City, a division of Mother and Child Health Coalition, was outside a midtown drugstore talking to people about the dangers of heatstroke and leaving a child in a hot car. An awareness campaign, called Where's Baby? Look Before You Lock, offers window stickers and safety tips for those transporting children in cars during the hot summer months.
