Today I come at you all more transparent about my past and thing that make me who I am today in the challenges and losses I faced through my journey of "coming out". Though it may not be a typical happy nor a typical sad story, it has its blend of the two. I do hope someone will benefit from this and take the time to feel encouraged within him/herself as they feel confident in who they are. October 11, 1988 was the first National Coming Out Day. that we reflect upon those that stood their ground so many years ago and many choose to come out themselves at this time.
