Ted is a VIP, a Victim of Institutionalized Prohibition, and as a survivor he details how legal action by Revenue Canada resulted in the creation of the non-profit Victoria Cannabis Buyers Club that publishes 10,000 newsletters quarterly, the Cannabis Digest, and issues them to dispensaries across Canada to keep folks apprised of current cannabis affairs. Ted teaches Hempology 101 as non-credit course at the University of Victoria and online at www.hemology.ca and there are now 8 schools in 5 provinces with plans for future expansion. Ted provides a detailed overview of the negative effects of the new regulations upon dispensaries and buyer's clubs, physician participation and cooperation, restrictive production rules, mandatory minimum sentences and expected price inflation.
