Virtual Desktop is an application that creates a virtual screen for you to view with you Oculus rift DK1 or DK2 allowing you eventually to throw your screen out of the window !

As of right now with the Oculus rift DK2 virtual Desktop is quite usable for windows navigation web browsing and general PC shenanigans, but its still the case that the Oculus could do with a higher resolution screen for VD to work to its full potential. 

Mind you if you were taking a laptop on a plane, train or happen to be stuck in a drab hotel virtual desktop might make a nice solution compared to using a tiny laptop screen. 

Of course the thing on everyones mind when looking at software such as virtual desktop is ..... how well does it work when you play CSGO with it.... and thats what we look at in this video!
