A group of high school students are doing their part in giving back to the community. Saturday, students at PSJA Early College High School provided meals to veterans and first responders. It was all a part of their third-annual Feast of Sharing. "It's about inviting the first responders and showing them that our students really care for what they do out there and it's also about inviting the veterans," said Dr. Alejandro Diaz, Principal of PSJA Early College High School. More than 50 organizations and clubs came together to prepare and hand out the meals. "If it wasn't because of the veterans and people that choose to go out and serve our country, we wouldn't be able to enjoy all of the benefits and all of the freedoms that we have to enjoy here," said PSJA School Board Vice President, Jesse Zambrano. "So as a community, part of what we do is also serving the veterans, serving first responders." This year, more than 1,500 people were served.
