It was my friend's birthday so I had gone to Vashi and back.
To go from Grant Road to Vashi, I have to use all 3 suburban railways of Mumbai:
1. The Western Line : Grant Road to Dadar
2. The Central Line : Dadar to Kurla
3. The Harbour Line : Kurla to Vashi

This video is a compilation of various photos and videos that I took en-route.
It is a mixture of scenes on the Western, Central and Harbour lines.

At Mumbai Central I saw the first and originally imported from Switzerland WAP-5 (30000).
I then boarded a Dahanu Road fast from Mumbai Central.
At Lower Parel we crossed a Bombardier EMU heading towards Churchgate and soon afterwards overtook an ICF EMU (Borivali slow).

On the Central Railway, I boarded a Kalyan fast from Dadar. 
It crossed a WDG-3 hauled express train between Matunga and SIon stations.  
After getting off at Kurla, I heard the honk of a WCAM-3 and saw the Manmad to Mumbai CST Panchvati Express crawling towards Dadar. 
Three minutes after the Panchvati Express followed a late running Deccan Queen, also at a slow pace.

Finally while coming back, I took photos of the beautiful sunset off the Vashi bridge as my harbour line train cruised over it at 80 km/hr.  
The coastline of Navi Mumbai looks very scenic from the bridge.
Also when I caught a Churchgate bound fast local from Dadar, I realised it is time for the Rajdhani to depart Mumbai Central.
I captured that crossing as well, between Lower Parel and Mahalaxmi stations, the WAP-7 showing nice acceleration.
