How to Catch Early Spring Prespawn Bass

Check out that video here: http://bit.ly/2pcXnjf Targeting windblown points leading into shallow spawning flats can be a good way to catch big spring time bass. Throwing a chatterbait and spinnerbait allows you to cover water quickly and effectively and are fairly easy baits to use in a variety of cover. Start by targeting the deeper windblown points and the areas of deeper water closest to healthy grass or cover that's holding baitfish. As the sun comes up and the water temp rises throughout the day, move shallower to chase those fish up towards the warmer, shallower flats.
