. Windows updation often keeps the old windows file as a backup, acquiring some decent space in the Drive where you installed the new windows. You can Free Gigabytes of hard disk space with the Disk Clean Up tool. 

Go the Start Menu and type Disk Cleanup, You will see the Disk Clean Up Desktop App, Click on it. A pop up will appear and here you need to select the Drive where Windows is installed and Click on OK. Scanning will start for Disk Cleanup and once done Disk Cleanup interface will Open. Here you will see the Option Clean up System File. Simply Click on it. As soon as do that, It will again ask you to choose a drive. Select C drive and click on OK. Again scanning will start and Once complete you will again see the Disk Cleanup interface. 

Here Scroll to the Option ""Previous Windows installation(s)" under files to delete and select it. Now click on OK to run the process. A pop up will prompt asking you to confirm if you want to permanently delete these files. Click on Yes to Confirm. You will again see a warning message, saying you won't be able to restore previous Windows installations if you delete the files. Click on Yes to Confirm. As soon as you do that, Disk Cleanup Tool will remove the old Windows installation files from the main Drive of your windows 10 PC.
