Hey guys, so about a month ago YouTube rolled out a new feature called YouTube stories to channels with 10,000 subs and up. Essentially it's Snapchat and Instagram stories rolled into the YouTube platform and they act almost identically.

I imagine if many of you even know about them as they aren't available to everyone and not that many creators who have them are using them. I think overall the concept is cool making YouTube an all in social platform bringing in the Community tab which is kinda Twitter and Instagram rolled into YouTube and now stories which brings in the Snapchat/Instagram element. I think it's a cool concept and idea but I don't think it's gonna take off.

I think most people on YouTube view themselves as content creators and the vast majority of people on Snapchat and Instagram just view themselves as using social media so I don't think were going to get the masses using YouTube stories, and at this time it's not even available to everyone.

Curious to hear your guys thoughts on YouTube stories?
