My review of the underrated sports drama, All The Marbles(1981) starring Peter Falk, Vicki Frederick, Laurene Landon, Burt Young, Tracy Reed, Ursaline Bryant, Claudette Nevins, and Richard Jaeckel. Directed by Robert Aldrich. Trivia Legendary female wrestler Mildred Burke taught actresses Vicki Frederick and Laurene Landon how to wrestle for their roles in the movie. Robert Aldrich's last movie. The Japanese team that the California Dolls wrestled in the movie were the Jumping Bomb Angels, who were featured in the WWE in 1988 and 1989. One of the two, Itsuki Yamazaki, and her husband manage the Go Japanese Restaurant in NYC today (as of December 2010).
