The Faculty Federation of the Art Institute of Philadelphia staged a labor rally on Monday April 16, 201, in front of the school. The parent company, Education Management Corporation, which in turn is owned in large part by Goldman Sachs, seems to be trying to pressure the faculty into accepting a very undesirable contract. AFSCME District Council 47 is supporting the Faculty Federation in its quest for a fair contract.
