A Happy Holidays Thank YOU from the foster dogs of Dogs Deserve Better! These dogs come from nothing...holes in the ground, chains around their necks, living in hovels with no human love or companionship. Our Holiday Program is the perfect time to shower the fosters with love, toys, treats, and gifts...to show them how a REAL dog lives! Our supporters are really the best. This year, for the second year in a row, each dog got at least one package of gifts mailed to him/her, and each dog in the DDB foster program, 100 dogs, will get a $100 Petco Gift Card, courtesy of your donations and a matching $5000 donation from the mysterious Santa Paws! We are so grateful, and so are the dogs. As one of our foster parents says: "I wanted you to know that Bearbear received 2 wonderful packages. One huge package included a beautiful bed, treats, toys....it was really unbelievable. The other package was from an 8th grader named Jane and I will send photos of Bearbear with those toys as well. It is really heartwarming that there are people out there that do this for these animals. Bearbear is loving his bed and is playing with the toys as well. Again, thank you and Dogs Deserve Better for your support." Cartoon art by DDB Rep Tim Treybal.
