I've decided to periodically upload songs that I've had locked in the closet for years.  This is the first one.  My apologies to my fellow ukulele players, but I played guitar for 18 years prior to picking up a uke, so all these older recordings are non-ukulele in nature.  I'll put "Closet Cut" in the title whenever I upload one of these, so subscribers will know that it is not an ukulele video.  


 This first one is an Edgar Allen Poe poem called Annabelle Lee, that I wrote music for ( and took some creative license with the words) and made into a song.  It is one of my favorite poems.

  I found the video on the internet archive and discovered that it is also on YT at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tRhIJB6YD-4  I'm a big machinima fan, and Foxiekitten25 has some good stuff, so I recommend you check it out.  I had to chop up the original a little bit to make it fit the song, my apologies to Foxie.

  I recorded this in 1999 with the help of my good friend Jim.  I'm playing a 6-string acoustic guitar, 12-string acoustic guitar, bass, and tamborine.
