New Years Eve Interview with Alison Rauch. For years South Carolina has been 2nd in the nation for DUI fatalities. It is so blatantly obvious one of the reasons these homicides will continue is because the South Carolina Highway Patrol does not carry a field breathalyzer. That's what Kelli's Law is about- for South Carolina to step up like the other states in the nation and carry this life saving tool. If it's too late to save a life- for God's sake at least let the family have their day in court. (don't worry DUI killers, IF you get any jail time- by the time the plea deals, good behavior, work release, house arrest, time served, over crowding etc are exhausted, you will be out quicker than you can say Lindsay Lohan.
