What are my options for delivery?

So many patients will come to the office and ask, "What are my options during labor and delivery, do I have choices that I can make?" And the truth is they have many choices they can make just because you deliver in the hospital you still have the options to labor in multiple positions for the patients to be comfortable. We also are expanding our options at all of the Intermountain hospitals including Dixie Regional Medical Center to allow the potential for patients to be immersed in water during their labor and the potential for water births. The Intermountain Healthcare has started a program called patient centered care, that allows the patients to have more choices during labor and delivery while still providing safety. And that's been a big change in our hospital in the last five years to allow for more autonomy.
