The goal of this presentation is to familiarize current Windows developers with some of the development tools available on Linux. As a develop on Linux, I talk about the tools I use in my day-to-day work. This includes a comparison of some of the many IDEs and editors available, the GNU C Collection (gcc), and the GNU Debugger (gdb). I also talk about Valgrind, which provides a memory debugging tool, a profiling tool and more.
