- Paciente de 41 años, viene a consulta sin tratamiento médico y con un patrón de alopecia NW IV no estable. Se prescribe finasteride y se controla por consultorio. A los 6 meses nuevo control constatando mejoría en calidad de pelo y cobertura. Se programa entonces estrategia en una cirugía para reparar coronilla y reforzar frontal y ver después si retocamos.

Donante con las siguientes características:

· Temporal: 55 micras de pelo; 61 UF/cm2; 157 pelos/cm2; 2,57 pelos/UF; CV de 8,64

· Parietal: 56 micras; 70 UF/cm2; 182 pelos/cm2; 2,60 pelos/UF; CV de 10,19

· Occipital: 57 micras; 77 UF/cm2; 204 pelos/cm2; 2,65 pelos/UF; CV de 11,63

TDA (área donante total) de 237 cm2 y TDC (capacidad donante total) de 7844 grafts (a 2,61 pelos/graft).

Se realiza intervención de 3601 grafts (9155 pelos) para restaurar 53 cm2 de frontal (42 graft/cm2) y 60 cm2 de coronilla (42 grafts/cm2), a una media de 2,54 pelos/graft (312 singles; 1309 dobles; 1696 triples; 275 cuádruples, 9 quíntuples). Punch de 0.85 mm.

We saw this 41 yo patent in consultation: MPB NW IV with an unstable alopecia and without medical treatment. As always, we prescribed finasteride and saw him after 6 months with a good improvement in the hair quality and coverage. Then, we planned a 1 step strategy to restore the Crown and strengthen the frontal area.

Donor area with the following characteristics:

· Temporal: 55 microns of hair; 61 FU/cm2; 157 hairs/cm2; 2,57 hairs/FU; CV of 8,64

· Parietal: 56 microns; 70 FU/cm2; 182 hairs/cm2; 2,60 hairs/FU; CV of 10,19

· Occipital: 57 microns; 77 FU/cm2; 204 hairs/cm2; 2,65 hairs/FU; CV of 11,63

TDA (total donor area) of 237 cm2  and TDC (total donor capacity) of 7844 grafts (at 2,1 6hairs/graft).
We carry out a 3601 grafts procedure (9155 hairs) to restore 53 cm2 (42 grafts/cm2) in frontal area and 60 cm2 in Crown (42 grafts/cm2) at an average of 2,54 hairs/graft (312 singles; 1309 doubles; 1696 triples; 275 cuadruples, 9 quintuples). Punch of 0.85 mm.
