Nadie Reyhani plays music as we hardly hear it in the Netherlands: fragile popsongs combined with folk influences. She draws inspiration from Suzanne Vega, Joni Mitchell, Sinéad O'Conner and Tracy Chapman. Naturally she is influenced by her mother, the early deceased singer Nadieh, whose popular song Windforce 11 returns every year in Radio 2's Top 2000. Being one of the songs on her debut 'Soon', Nadie covers Windforce 11, precisely 25 years after its release. The record 'Soon' can be typified by its warmly sound, beautiful pop songs with a spark of folk. Fragile and powerful at the same time!
