Marianne Cauvard is a French designer/artist interested in all things food related and has completed internships with food designers trying to fulfill her curiosity. After spending a semester in London, she came back to Paris with a deep fascination for jellies, a material both attractive and repelling. Raphaël Pluvinage is a French industrial design engineer who completed his diploma in Compiegne (2009) and spent a year in the Interaction design Master of the University of Applied Science in Potsdam (2010). His work deals with both virtual and physical aspect of design used to create narrative, system and objects to experiment and think about present/future possibilities. http://www.pluvinage.eu & http://www.mariannecauvard.fr In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.* (*Subject to certain rules and regulations)
