Overall though, it is a somewhat funny video with banter and shenanigans.
It was a pleasure to have spent this time with like minded individuals having a go at this Survival Exercise.
The case was proven that Survival in the bush would not be a simple matter and by no means a foregone conclusion.
We spent the major part of Saturday actively hunting and part of the afternoon fishing with ZERO Results !
Needless to say, we went hungry but it was definitely not for want of trying.
I was hoping that the bushfires to the East of Lithgow would channel some game towards our location to the West of Lithgow, where we could have had a chance to take one of them, but it was not to be. Never mind, maybe next time !
We encountered multiple wallabies and kangaroos, which in a real Survival situation would have been able to be taken for food, but because this was only a Survival Exercise, we did not harm any of these native species.
We were on the hunt for goats and pigs mainly, with Foxes and Cats as targets of opportunity for the purposes of feral pest eradication.
I hope you enjoy this video !
Cheers and Happy Hunting / Fishing / Camping !!
