Since it was announced in July, South Africans and people around the world have been gearing up for the 2018 Global Citizen Festival taking place at FNB Stadium on Sunday 2 December. Hosted by the international movement of people who are taking a stand against extreme poverty, Global Citizen, the line-up boasts local and world-reaching heavyweight artists like Beyonce & Jay-Z, Cassper Nyovest, Ed Sheeran, Femi Kuti, Pharrell Williams & Chris Martin, Sho Madjozi, Usher, and the list goes on! Tickets to this once-in-a-lifetime event are earned through taking an action journey that helps Global Citizen realise its mission to amass 1 billion people to call on our world leaders to honour their responsibilities in achieving the UN Sustainable Development Goals and ending extreme poverty by 2030. If entertainment is a means to helping hundreds and thousands in need, then we definitely think this is a great cause to align with! Visit globalcitizen.org.za to get more information.
