It's being claimed that Jack Straw decided two years ago it was in the UK's "overwhelming interests" to make the Lockerbie bomber eligible for return to Libya. Letters leaked to the Sunday Times appear to show the Government originally excluded Abdelbaset Ali Mohmed al-Megrahi from a prisoner transfer agreement - but then changed its mind.
