A Neck Relief of .012" Is A Must for Light Gauge Hendrix String Set

This is a shout out to my friend and subscriber Stefan from Romania for reminding me that any time you change the tension of your strings, you need  to adjust the relief in the neck accordingly.  When I first put on the 10,13,17,26,32,38 set, the wound strings had a lot of fret buzz at my .007" relief.  When I adjusted it to .012", the magic happened.  The strings began to ring and take on a whole new Hendrix style character.  Don't forget to check your neck relief.  Fender factory specs. are .012".  I put a link to the video I did on checking your relief.  Also, my board setup was sounding great with all four of my favs, the Mini Fuzz Face, the Fulltone OCD, the Vibe-Baby and the Area 51 Alienist.  There is a great range of tone using your guitar volume knob from around 4-8.  I had it on 5 or 6 in this video, with the tone control usually backed off to 6-7.
