This time, we look at the pulse of water recent heavy rains have given to waterfalls near Ithaca, NY, including nearly 20 waterfalls on the cliffs along the east shore of Cayuga Lake, water roaring through Buttermilk Glen in Buttermilk Falls State Park, and flood damage to Enfield Glen in Robert H. Treman State Park, also near Ithaca. We also take a trip out onto Cayuga Lake with the Cayuga Lake Floating Classroom, and then go to Sunken Meadow State Park on the north shore of Long Island, NY. Join me, Tony Ingraham, as we visit parks in the Finger Lakes region of New York State, across the US, and around the world. As a former career state park ranger and environmental educator and interpreter, I am moved to share my love of our beautiful and historic landscapes. I have two series: Walk in the Park, a half hour show from public access TV in Ithaca, NY, and Park Minute. Each shows weekly. Find out more on my website http://walkinpark.com.
